A Time for All Seasons is the first book of a series coming from Sharleen McCorrister, the sequel, soon to be released and following this collection, titled, The Death Whisperer, will chronicle the author's experiences, poetry, and anedotes of being a Death Doula.

The sequel and follow up to Sharleen McCorrister's A Time for All Seasons, The Death Whisperer will chronicle the author's experiences, poetry, and anedotes of being a Death Doula.

For there is season for all things, including death.



 

Sharleen McCorrister is an independent educational consultant working in both the public and private sector of the Ontario Education System since 2019. She has been involved in Early Childhood Education since 1985 and has been a dedicated Montessori Casa Directress for the past 26 yrs.

Volunteer work is very much a core aspect of her life. Having worked as a volunteer since a young teenager; she has served two local hospitals on the geriatric wards, worked in home care for the elderly and is completing her Death Doula Training with the Home Hospice Association. She is a volunteer at the Ruddy Shenkman Hospice in Kanata.


She has published a book of children’s poetry, The Tao of Fey, and has had a poem featured in the Award-winning Faces of Ottawa Book of the Year 2022 anthology of Ottawa poets, Love & Catastrophe Poetrē.


She enjoys gardening, travelling the world, reading and is an avid baker. Ms. McCorrister resides in the Ottawa area.
