Broken Keys Publishing is proud to announce a new name to our incredible roster of literary talents!
Catherine C. Bastedo spent her childhood north of Lake Superior. She completed a BA in French literature at the University of Toronto and then a master’s degree in Canadian Studies at Carleton University, specializing in French-Canadian literature. After holding various executive positions in the Canadian government, she was appointed Executive Director of an international
nonprofit organization that promotes and supports Canadian studies. She then moved into a
new career as author, Reiki master teacher and international retreat leader. She also enjoys wellness coaching, reading, travelling, yoga, and spending time outdoors.
In her writing Catherine draws on her intuitive abilities, her connection with nature, and her
strong family ties. Her articles relating to complementary health have been published in both
print and digital magazines. Bird Vibes Meditation Cards, with the accompanying guidebook,
was published in 2023 and she is presently looking forward to the publication of her first
childrens’ book with Broken Keys Publishing, Bird Vibes Alphabet!
