Introducing Dave Tod!

Broken Keys Publishing is proud to announce the addition of Ottawa author, Dave Tod!

Dave Tod is retired and had a career in banking and fundraising in the nonprofit sector. An avid golfer, Dave has caddied in 18 PGA Tour golf tournaments, has two holes in one and has played the Old Course at St. Andrews three times. He was born in Brockville, ON, raised in Ottawa, attended Sir John A. Macdonald H.S. then Queen’s University in Kingston where he studied history. He lived in Calgary for 40 years and Cameroon, West Africa for two years. Dave and wife Sharon are dedicated fans of the British soap operas Coronation Street and Emmerdale.

Dave’s favourite literary characters are the brilliant and brave, yet overly introspective, Captain Horatio Hornblower (Royal Navy) of the Napoleonic era (author C.S. Forester) and world champion bully, coward, scoundrel, unwarranted war hero, and womanizer of the Victorian era Sir Harry Flashman (author G.M. Fraser).
