John D. Maxwell was born and raised in Mountain, Ontario, and served as a police officer in the nation’s capital for almost 32 years. His last posting was as the Inspector in charge of Major Cases (Homicide, Robbery, Sexual Assault, Domestic Violence). He and his wife, Pamela, raised 3 children and live in rural Ottawa. John retired from the police in 2016.
