Broken Keys Publishing & Press is proud to announce the addition of Jules Tapas to our ever growing and incredible roster of literary talents!

Jules Tapas is a Cree Medicine Man, counsellor, and survivor whose life has been shaped by both profound trauma and extraordinary resilience. Raised in Fort Albany on the western shores of James Bay, he grew up between the healing traditions of the land and the devastating legacy of Canada's residential school system. After overcoming addiction, violence, and the lasting effects of abuse, Jules dedicated his life to helping others find healing through a unique blend of traditional Cree teachings, ceremony, and modern therapeutic practice.

In his upcoming autobiography, The Long Paddle Home, Jules shares his remarkable journey from a childhood marked by hardship to becoming a respected healer, spiritual leader, and guide within his community. His story is one of redemption, forgiveness, and the enduring strength of Indigenous knowledge, offering a powerful testament to the possibility of breaking cycles of intergenerational trauma. Today, Jules continues to serve his people through ceremony, counselling, and cultural revitalization, inspiring others to rediscover hope, purpose, and the healing power of the land.

Broken Keys Publishing is proud to add Jules Tapas' The Long Paddle Home,

will be our 82nd title in our literary lineup!
