We provide layout and formatting services for the main text of your book, suitable for print editions, hard cover editions, print-on-demand (such as Amazon), and eBooks.
Additionally, we offer layout and formatting for book covers, including print editions, hard cover editions, POD, and basic eBooks, along with cover design services.

Discount Package 1 (Editing)*
We provide discounts on our editing fees when combined with other services.
If you pair our editing services with a second service, such as layout/formatting or printing, you'll enjoy a 5% discount on the editing fees.
For those who combine our editing services with both layout and printing, you'll receive a 10% discount on the editing fees.

We offer discounts on our printing services when bundled with other services.
Combine our printing services with our editing service and enjoy a 5% discount on your editing fees.
If you combine our printing services with both layout and editing you'll receive a 10% discount on your editing fees.

The Basic Publishing package offers layout and formatting for print editions and POD books, as well as text, cover, and cover design. (With a discount of 25% to 30% off). It also includes a basic proofreading with a single read-through. This package allow authors who have already edited their manuscript or have an alternate editing arrangement.

The Premium Publishing package offers layout and formatting for print editions and POD books, as well as text, cover, and cover design. (At a discount of 25% to 30% off)
You will also receive a 10% to 15% discount on our standard editing fees as part of your selection.

* With all these services, Broken Keys Publishing & Press does NOT provide an ISBN. Broken Keys Publishing & Press is NOT the publisher. Broken Keys Publishing & Press does NOT submit samples or forms to Library & Archives Canada. These services do NOT check for copyright infringements or licensing issues (ie. fonts, images, and cover art), with the exception of Cover Design. Broken Keys Publishing & Press does NOT take any royalties and any and all profits from sales are 100% the author's.
Broken Keys Publishing & Press' logo will NOT be used (on final book's spine, front cover, nor back cover. Permission for use of the Broken Keys Publishing & Press' logo is NOT granted). Contracted work only commences after payment(s) has been made. It is the author's responsibility to upload and manage their own files on their own Amazon, or other POD account. If POD is exclusively used (no ebook option), permission will be needed for the use of Broken Keys Publishing & Press' Sustainable Publishing logo.

Services listed above will be included and priced accordingly with any applicable discounts, and agreed upon before any work commences. Cover artwork (possibly back cover, spine, and/or front cover), if opted, will include the Broken Keys Publishing & Press logo. Cover and text layout and formatting, assignment of the title's ISBN and submission to Library and Archives of Canada will be managed by Broken Keys Publishing & Press. Broken Keys Publishing & Press will upload and manage POD (ie Amazon) account(s). Print Editions will be coordinated for further and better profit margins. Broken Keys Publishing & Press takes a contractually agreed upon percentage of the sale's profits, laid out in the Contract. Periodic radio and TV interviews will be set up (as Covid restrictions and lockdowns permit), as will scheduled book signing events in the larger big-box stores (ie Chapters, Indigo, Coles) as well as smaller independent bookshops, and various online promotions.
